RAV4 2001

Hi new to this club - great forum.

Just bought myself a 2001 RAV4.

Anyway, I'm thinking to carrying out a DIY servicing, but having read the user manual, it states only certain oils and fluids shoud be used. so my questions are:

1. does it make a whole lot of difference which brand you use?

2. what types of fluids do most people recommend (i.e. for coolant, engine oil etc.)

3. where is the best place to buy these? (I'm in london)

1: Yes, use decent quality branded oils

2: Use the Toyota coolant, 08889-80002 5 lites and any GOOD MAKE 5w 30 semi synthetic

3: Dont know about London but any motorist store (even supermarkets) will sell oil, coolant from your dealer

Kingo
