This is driving me nuts !

The rear window has started to rattle. I've checked and tightened any bolts to do with the window but to no avail.

Any ideas would really be appreciated before I tear what's left of my hair out !!!

Thanks

I have the same problem on my Aygo, and I am yet to find a cause.

Although I did notice that the rattle stopped when I had the seats down and the parcel shelf out.

So that narrows it down to the chair locks that hold them up, and the shelf.

Try putting your seats down and removing the shelf and go for a drive? See if you can eliminate the window?

EDIT: oh and you bought the wrong car :P 'Car Model:Citroen C1'

I had this with my Yaris D-4D 3dr, when I neglected to secure the rear seatbelts in the plastic fittings in the side-panels.

A similar problem can arise with the rear-seat squab in my 18-month-old Mk 6.5 Fiesta 5 dr;-- it just needs a good whack down to make it latch below the seatbelt clasps. The rear hatch may be the cause, because lots of owners have had new buttons/latches fitted, with better design tolerances. My wife's '55 reg one had that done;-- no trouble now, with the '58 reg Platinum 5 dr. And, the clutch problems of old are now subject to more regular adjustment, which is all they needed. Toyota never once adjusted the clutch on her last car, and it was just about to start slipping the clutch. Cables stretch, even on bicycles, and hand-brakes. At least they didn't break, like on Renaults. (I had 5 Renault ones break, and one Fiat.)
