Hi all

I have heard from a friend of a friend that the new face-lifted Aygo's front bumper is a straight swap for the old one i.e. replacing the front bumper of an old Aygo would be as simple as fitting a new one...

does anyone know if this is true?!

I have some damage to my front bumper and if this straight swap buisness is true then I'd like to get a new one with some fog lights! :)

Thanks for any help in advance!

Cheers

As long as you get a COMPLETE bumper it should be a straight swap.

So you need the bumper, both upper- and lower grille-inserts, cornerprotectors...

The bits where the bumper meets the car are the same, but the airdeflectors by

the radiator ARE different I'm told...

If you are going to swap fronts......

THIS.

Is what is involved.

Sorry, don't know. I can't be 100% sure they're different either, it's just wat I've been told.

I DO know they need to be in place to ensure proper cooling of your engine and A/C-condensor.

That's OK I'm popping down to Mr. T next week to get a new clutch done anyway so will ask one of the service team there they are usually pretty willing to help!

Cheers though I'll let you know!

This might help in differentiating part numbers between pre-facelift and facelift, some part numbes might have been superseded, check with your dealer

I´ve been looking at this post because I´ve got a facelift front bumper that i want to put on my non-facelift Aygo. My problem is that the upper grill on the facelift bumper is broken. I was hoping that i could use the one from the non-facelift bumper instead. As i read it here, the grill wont fit. Have anyone tried it? I was wondering howcome the part number in the PDF provided in this post differ between the facelift and the non facelift upper grill, but the picture aren´t different. Are there actually a difference between the to grills or are it just a different number because the whole bumper were facelifted?
