Disconnecting Wing Mirror Electrics

Hello,

I have a little problem with my Avensis. My neighbours kid has knocked the driverside wing mirror off it's moulding, it's completely broken off, but the electrical wires are of course still connected. Toyota needs 2 days to get the mirror in.. Until then, the mirror is duct taped on.

The problem I have is that as soon as I turn the key, the mirror tries to adjust itself, and I would like to disconnect it until it's fixed. It's very unnerving to have the constant noise, and don't know how much damage it could do to the electrics. It has nothing to do with the button for the mirrors, I already tried putting it on the passenger side or in the middle, the mirror just wants to adjust itself all the time. So, how do I go about disconnecting the mirror from the electrics?

I hope my post makes sense  , and any help would be greatly appreciated. B)

Thanks in advance,

Yorkie
