Avensis T180 - Mystery Switch

Hi All

I have just bought myself a very nice 2007 Avensis T180 tourer. When I was in the boot checking the pressure of the spare tyre, I noticed this switch in the compartment to the left hand side of the spare.

Had a look through the manual and could not find what it was for, does anyone have any ideas??

Do you have parking sensors ? If you do I would bet thats the switch to turn them off when towing.

It is the switch to turn the parking sensors off. Got one on mine. Anoyingly when i stick the tornea (parcel shelf thinginy) in that space when im carrying big stuff it flicks that switch and turns them off.
