Avensis Tr Automatic Engine Noise

hi, im just looking some info, im not mechanically minded, When i am driving and the rpm's reach between 2900 and 3100 there is a sort of buzz sounding it appears to come from the top left side of the engine(when looking out from the driving position). A ny thoughts?

thankyou for your reply, its a petrol 1.8vvti automatic saloon TR i hope this helps alsothe noise happens when the car is in neutral and when i am drinivg in gear .

it looks somthing has lost a good fixing and vibrates.

by the way -- have four spark plugs inspected -- may be they or several have poor spark giving bad ignition process?

check in the engine bay for looose plastics
