Not Sure About The Wheel Sizes.

Hello!

I am new to these forums, but since I could not find any help from anywhere else, I found this forum.

My problem lies with a Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-CAT 177 6 M/T Wagon:

I bought this car, but since I had to sell my old car (Ford Mondeo Sedan 2001, 1.8) and didn't sell the wheels (they are aluminium, don't know the right word for it unfortunately in english.).

I got summer wheels with this car, but since the Ford Mondeos old ones are new, 0km used. I decided that I could put them under the car, use them up and sell the aluminium parts further away after.

But problem lies with this:

Can I put 225/45x R17 94W sized wheels under Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-Cat 177 6 M/T Wagon? (Year 2006)

Sorry about my bad english.

Best Regards,

New Toyota owner.

I think you are saying "Will the wheels off my Ford fit my Toyota Avensis"???

If so then NO, they have a different wheel stud PCD, 5 x 108 on the Ford and 5 x 100 on the Toyota

Kingo

Sorry, I am not really into these things. What did you mean with 108 and such? I need more detailed information! :)

http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/wheeloffset.html technical explanation

Your avensis 2.2 PCD 5 x 114

your mondeo PCD 5 x 108

the 5 holes will not match up

buy some cheaper steel wheels for the winter tyres , the new rubber on the mondeos alloys(aluminium wheels) may not fit the avensis wheels.

best thing is sell the wheels and buy new ones for the avensis
