New Clutch Cost

I have just got an estimate for a whole new clutch from my local Toyota garage and it seems ludicrously expensive to me!

they quoted me £590.50 inc. VAT parts and labour!

That's more than my 60K service cost including new brakes!

Is it just me or does that seem a bit unreasonable for a little Aygo?! Has anyone else had their clutch replaced?

I think I may shop around and try to find a better deal!

Ask them for a breakdown of costs.

The clutch needs replacing completely as it is slipping through all the gears!

Have managed to get them down to £472 :) seems a bit more like it to me!

maybe try the local pug and citroen dealers as well as the indies? Might be worth a shot. does seem pricey
