Sat Nav (Dvd Version) + Ipod Kit

I'm sure this has probably been asked, but 30 minutes of googling and I'm getting nothing. I've just bought my second Auris - the other one... well, lets say I feel for whomever buys it second hand after having to get the AA out twice!

The new one is the old 2 litre diesel TSpirt with Sat Nav upgrade - with the CDs and the traffic updating and all that jazz. Great. So, I paid for the iPod upgrade, as I loved my old one.

With the sat nav though, I'm only getting track numbers! This is useless to me. I want the playlist title and track name up that I had on the old one.

Then, after 270miles, the whole system has stopped working. Both iPod and iPhone will connect to the Toyota on their side, but the Toyota head unit won't accept there's anything there.

It's booked into Toyota in an hour! I'd love a quick response, because, quite frankly, if all I'm getting is numbers, I want my money back and we'll put a headphone connector in ourselves.

Thanks!

I've been to the dealer and all they can say is 'That's how it is'. They're willing to remove the cable and give me my money back for the connection. Is there really nothing that can be done?
