Annoying Rattle

For some while now i have been puzzled by a shuddering rattle when the car passes over any road pot hole, (and there are plenty of them now aren't there!). The rattle appeared to come from the rear of the cabin but I have now traced it to the passenger and drivers sun visors. When these are in the fully down position the rattle disapears. Has anyone else found this on the 4.3? If so has anyone found a cure?

Hi Ravman Dave,

Us Scottish folk, if we had rattling sunvisors, would just have to put up with it.....it is very seldom we have reason to put them down, hence silencing them. We are under the misapprehension that they are some kind of supplementary air bag or impact system for our heids in the event of a collision.

I'm really sorry Kev to have reminded you that much of England has been basking in glorious sunshine for the last couple of weeks. I'm thinking of buying Bothy's sunglasses 'cos he can't have any use for them!

Must dash....there's a yellow ball in the sky, and all my fellow country folk are out gazing at it through telescopes, totally bemused as to what it is......
