How Do I Replace A Front Light Assembly?

Help - I'm stuck. To replace a front light assembly on a Toyota Carina E (P Reg), how do I remove the indicator light to get at the retaining bolts on the main headlight?

Bit late for this, but might help if anyone's looking in future. The indicators (and the headlights as well) are held in with a screw and a clippy sort of thing. As the OP says, the clippy bit needs a good yank to get it undone - all the gentle wiggling in the world gets you nowhere, so you have to pull it harder than you'd normally think would break something. In fact, you want to pull it hard enough that even after reading this you'll think you must be about to break it.
