190 Noise When Clutch Pedal Down

Hi all,

I have a 190, and still love it.

Its an 02, with 99.5k on the clock, I have owned it since 18k in late 04.

Now I love this car, but its starting to get the odd rattle here and there.

Problem 1 - When I have the clutch pedal down I hear a grinding / clunking noise, its not really loud, just above (and in time with) the engine noise. I am guessing this indicates that my clutch is on the way out?

Prob 2 - I had discs and pads replaced at the last MOT. Since a few days after that I hear a grinding noise when at slow speeds and with the steering wheel on full lock. This sounds like its coming from the wheels. Is this just them wearing in, or does it suggest that they are not fitted correctly.

Really hoping to get these fixed easily, as no new cars float my boat at the moment.

PS - am in Watford area, any suggestions on good Toyota knowledge in the area appreciated.

Guess I could just get both looked at on the 100k service at the right garage?
