Toyota Yaris T3 Problem

Hi this is my first post,

I have a Toyota yaris t3 06 plate, the problem is when pulling off in 1st when putting my foot down on accelerator it makes a rattling noise, sounding like the exhaust but not sure, when i take my foot off it stopped also the same in 2nd and 3rd, what could that problem be,

Sounds like a loose heat shield on the exhaust. If you can't get under it, take it to a garage and ask them to lift it up to check it.

It could be a heat shield on the manifold aswell, if your car has one.

Simple repair though, it can be re-welded or riveted back on securely for little cost.
