I have a 96 Rav4, when engine is cold and i start the car, the idling speed goes over 2000 rpm and stays there for around 5 minutes till the engine gets warmer and then drops down to 1100 rpm. When engine is fully warm after 10 minutes, the idle drops to 600 rpm as though it is about to stall and stays there all the time. Tried adjusting the screw on the throttle cable at engine, whatever way it will not idle at 900 rpm, either 1100 rpm or 600 rpm. Lately fuel consumption is very bad, please anyone for help ?
