hi guys,

I have a toyota celica VVTI year 2000. I am trying to replace the gear gaitor as the wire does not hold the leather anymore and it sits loose.

I have purchased a new leather one from eBay but there is no wire to keep it underneath.

firstly does anyone know whether the leather should sit underneath the edge or should it sit over the top? The old one appeared to sit over the top!! I am getting no joy anywhere else online and its driving me crazy!!! Help!

am i best just to go to a toyota dealership?
