My Alarm Goes Off

My 98 1.8 GS Avensis alarm used to go off randomly so I pulled the plug from the siren unit. This is located behind/below the driver side headlight. Everying else still worked perfectly and I had no problems. I think this is a bit of a common fault due to corrosion in the unit. Hope this helps, worth a go because it is a free thing to try.
