Annoying Rattle

HELP!!! my 97 hilux ln167r has developed an annoying rattle at approx 2500 to 3000 rpm. this does not occur under acceleration but does occur at cruising speeds but especially under deceleration. It sounds like somebody flicking the side of a steel drum! I have replaced all tray mount bolts, checked the rear brakes, and been under the car to find/fix any loose fixtures. Any ideas would be helpful

Hi. I recently had a similar problem. It turned out to be the hinge linkage to the rear door, where the rubber had worn out.A temporary solution was to wind a rubber band in-between the joint. Worked a treat!
