Auto Level Volume Control

Hi guys I have a 2003 t3, Is there any way to get the existing stereo to raise the volume automatically with increased speed and road noise. I was driving my wifes fiesta the other day and it has this function, I do not want to change the stereo but if such an adapter exists please tell, as buying a new car for this function may annoy my wife a tad lol.

No, but if you enable the "mother-in-law" auto mute function, that does a similar job of making the stereo audible at high speed.

You enable that function by selecting second gear, holding the throttle pedal fully down for 20 seconds, then selecting third gear and repeating the throttle pedal action.

It’s called ASL (Automatic Sound Levelizer)

It can be Low Mid or High. The ASL system automatically adjusts volume and tone with accordance with speed.

It’s with the Bass Treble Balance and Fade settings.

Not sure if it’s a feature on the old Yaris though.

Thanks for the info dude, but mine does not have this function. I will just have to keep turning the volume up and down lol.
