when i sold my 5dr rav 4 gx i bought a mitsubishi l200. we still have the 3dr rav 4 nrg.

yesterday i had a look at a d4d hilux :rolleyes:

so i might coming back to toyota after all ;)

Hi Bitman,

If this means that you wouuld be parting with the 3 door Rav, would maybe be of interest,as thought I was buying one on here from somebody else, but he's gone awfy quiet.

having a bit of looking around for hilux trucks these days i have found that they are 2 times more expensive then the l200 i drive at the moment. also most of the times it's an ex model what is very basic. i'm not really prepared to go back to manual windows and mirrors. i use my passenger side mirror everyday as i have to reverse into a tight parking bay and lower it to see the kerb. a lexus does this automatic, lowering the mirror B)

sure the hilux is far better quality (hence my search for one) but for hilux money i can buy 2 l200 trucks so i can have a full spare vehicle for the same monies :unsure:

Shoud`nt have said that,you know the fair sex has elephtine memories.

I`ve seen even that type of motor get stuck in mud at some of the shows I have been to!!

mmm, having driven her on saturday from crawley to felixstow and back (about 266 miles halve a tank only) via brighton marina and newhaven i can tell you that i don't feel the need for a chip at the moment. this engine has torgue enough for me.
