Can anyone tell me how to change the gear oil in my 1999 1300cc Corolla? I think i found the drain but can't work out if the filler is an allen bolt or large (24mm) bolt. Thanks

When you are standing before the radiator and you look to the right on the gearbox ,On the front of the gearbox sits a same large bolt approxamaly halfway on the gaerbox thats the bolt to fill it up .

The drainbolt sits at the deepest point of the gearbox .

about 2,4 liter gearboxoil goes in the gearbox

most times you can buy 1 Liter cans with a hose atteched so you can put the hose in the hole to fil it up when oli comes out of the Fillhole than there is enough oil in it

You olso can use a piece of your Gardenhose to put on the can and squize the plasticcan and put the other side in the Filler hole

This diagram might help

33101a is the filler plug

33104 is the drain plug.

It's always worth getting a new gasket for the drain plug as well.
