I am looking to buy an exhaust or back box for a 2009 1.3 2nz-fe. I have a budget of around 320. I wanted the nur spec s but it has sold out all around the uk, not even blitz has them.

Any ideas of what else I could find. Having no look with any websites

My advice would be to leave your current standard Toyota exhaust system on (assuming it is standard). Just a quick brain dump of my reasons:

1) It will make an awful droning noise on motorways which will really annoy you on a long trip.

2) You might upset your neighbours.

3) It'll reduce the second value of your car.

4) It is not a performance car and I doubt you would sense any power gains.

5) You must declare the modification to your current insurer, who will most certainly charge you more.

6) If the car is a 2009 model you will have some warranty left on it. Fitting the exhaust may void your Toyota warranty.

7) Everybody in a fast car will want to blow you away from the lights etc....
