Changing Lower Glove Box

Hello All, can some kind soul tell me how to remove the lower glove box on my auris (08) and did they only make one colour of dashboard, some idiot gouged it with a piece of metal, Regards John

If memory serves me right, lower the glovebox as far as it will go. On the outer edge is a support that dampens the opening and closing. Pull the support away from the glovebox, lower the glovebox a little further and it will just lift out.

+1, that's how it has to be removed.

There is also white dashboard available for Auris. It is quite rare though...
