Avensis T3S Auto Gear Box Problem

First post here and really hope you can help me.

My 2003 Avensis T3S auto has no reverse gear, it sounds like in neutral when I put it in reverse. All the other gears are fine. Any opinons on what to do?

Sorry my friend but this really sounds like a job for a specialist.... I am only a poor amateur but this sounds like a loss of oil pressure or knackered clutch bands

have you checked the auto gearbox fluid/oil level?

not enough oil no drive....

one of my friend had a problem with his auto gear box.the problem was that the car run only on second,third and fourth gear, first gear was not not working at all some mechanics told him to replace the gear boz which is really expensive in my country, one of the mechanic told him to try LUBEGARD® Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant and guess what? problem solved. so i consider to try these product before doing costly repair. hope it help
