ive a 1993 red carina gli made in japan on the windscreen

and i have looked everywhere for the paint code and cant find it

is id hidden somewhere on the car

Look at the bulkhead in the enginecompartment. There is a metal sign with some numbers and letters. It is diffucult to understand that sign. There you will find the colour code. I would guess it is 3J6 you have.
