Electric Wing Mirrors

some drunken yob kicked off my electric wing mirror on my avensis. it is booked in for repair but the motor is constantly on. i was looking at taking out the fuse so as not to blow the motor. where is it located????

some drunken yob kicked off my electric wing mirror on my avensis. it is booked in for repair but the motor is constantly on. i was looking at taking out the fuse so as not to blow the motor. where is it located????

You don't say what model or year but if it is 03- the fuse is No 42 located in the instrument panel near the glovebox.However it controls a lot more than the mirrors and removing it will disable the radio, gauges etc. It may be better to disconnect some wiring.
