Hi Gang

Long time no posting been to busy working on an MR2 Mk1 Race car.

Well my Clutch decided it wants to start juddering on pull away in 1st and 2nd!

So looks like after 36000 miles of motoring I will have to bite the bullet and change it.

Now couple of questions

Do the Driveshafts just pull out of the gear box on a spline?

Is it possible to take the gearbox of the engine without having to hold up the engine on a crane or removing the engie itself?

I noticed on the gearbox there is an engine mount but havent really paid attention to where the others are.

THe clutch is aparently upgraded on 2009 on models. Hopefully the new clutch is the upgraded part number.

I asked that question and the service department said that if a updated part has been put out there it will automatically take over from the older part when ordering etc.
