Jeremy Clarkson Escapes Unharmed

In Jeremy Clarkson's defence, it's not the kind of vehicle he's used to driving.

The Top Gear presenter swapped his fleet of high-powered cars for a vintage Reliant Robin yesterday.

But he put the three-wheeled car through its paces with a little too much vigour - overturning it as he swerved round a corner.

Luckily Clarkson was wearing a protective helmet and was unharmed in the accident.

The same can not be said for the car, left lying on its side.

The 50-year-old was filming for the new series of Top Gear in Braithwell, South Yorkshire.

He also squeezed behind the wheel of an Isetta bubble car, which left the 6ft5 presenter little room to move.

This isn't the first time Clarkson has come a cropper while filming for the show.

Last year he told how he was breathalysed by police after a 'small car crash'.

'We were filming last week, I had a small car crash - the police said: "We have to breathalyse you",'

'The cameras were on. I thought "What if...?" (But) I was completely fine.

'There's nothing more scary - nothing apart from certain diagnoses. Nothing rivals being breathlysed.'
