Loss Of Power

hi i would like if any body can help my townace has developed a loss or little power when i try and accelerate i`m not sure what the prob is but it`s like there is not enough diesel getting to the engine some times it will pull away and others it just dies and cuts out and has a prob restarting like theres no diesel any help would be gratfully appreciated thanks chris......

Check for fuel leaks, keep an eye on your MPG and also check the fuel delivery line for blockages and dirt/scud in your tank.

thanks for the reply KPARRIS-JONES changed the fuel filter yesterday hopfully that has solved the prob also going to give it an oil change because most of the forums i`ve been on say that it`s either a fuel problem or oil problem but i will let u know..chris.....

No problem mate, good luck with the fix.

It sounds to be something to do with fuel delivery so check your injectors and fuel line. Hopefully the filter is the fix though because that will also be the cheapest one! :)

Hi Chris,

I replaces my fuel filter, air filter and had my injectors serviced. You would have thought I had replaced the whole engine. Brilliant!
