Hilux 2 Door Pick Up - P Plate. Front Lighting Question?

Hello

Why do all Toyota's have the most annoying side light [bulb] replacement procedure? Apart from an old 'picnic' I've also got, I really can't fathom out how to remove my side light lens from my pick-up? I can see a lug at the top of the lens, within the light cluster, but should the lens just come out with a little bit of tender 'prizing' from a flat headed screwdriver?

The alternative is to remove the complete lighting cluster ... surely this isn't the only way to replace a flaming side light bulb .... Arrrggh!

Any suggestions to help would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi, I'm assuming you have a Mk3 - do you have the owners manual, which sets out (on P137/8) how to take the side (parking) light off - two philips screws above and below the "prism"?? If not, try here
