Service Leeway

My Aygo Blue 09 has done 9200 miles now, so is approaching her 10000 mile service.

I wondered what sort of leeway do I have on this mileage? Does it have to be below 10000 or can it go above, and if so, by how much?

I think it's 10% above, I'm not 100% certain but I think I remember reading it somewhere.

I would speak to Toyota GB for their official line on this; however I would hazard a guess 1 month or 500 miles. But given you are at 9,200M already why would you be going over?

The first service should be done at 10,000 miles OR 12 months, whichever comes first.

Mine is due shortly, at 12 months. It's only done 2000 miles but

I don't want to risk invalidating the three year warranty - It's

booked with Toyota for the 12 month anniversary date.

The first service is only an oil and filter change, with a visual

check of brakes, lights and steering.

Locally we pay £99 - recently increased from £89.

That's a rip off but I've saved that on road tax so I can live with it.
