If you really want one, take into account that many remote start alarms like Viper have a turbo timer included. I just installed Viper 781xp which is great.

I mean why should you pay for a turbo timer when you can buy a remote start system with a turbo timer included for the same amount of money? Your choice.

I doubt your turbo gets that hot on a 1.4 D-4D that you will need a turbo timer

I tried again to install a different apexi but still it seems impossible as it doesn't work at all and in case you bridge the cables the car's ecu starts to find airbag problem, chech engine and many other faults.

It is a nice gadget and I would like to get it work, so a help would be welcome...

Don't think it's worth it; The turbo will get hot at motorway/national limit speeds, but it will usually cool down to safe levels during the normal driving you do once you come off the motorway/whatever road (Well, unless your house is right on a national speed-limit road like my friend's ; He quickly learned to let the car run idle for a few minutes after he fried his TDI's turbo )

Oooh, if we're talking gadgets, how about a scangauge? :D

More data than you'd ever want to know about your car!

Much easier to install too! ;)

They are pricey tho'; I wanted one so I can have a realtime mpg display (For some reason ALL Yaris engines have that... except the diesel one!!) but don't want to pay that much, esp. as it'd probably get nicked due to some of the areas I work (Well, worked :( ) in!
