Is the price right

Hi i am considering purchasing a 1998® Toyota Celica 1.8st, 69000, with air con, abs, sports seats etc, is £7000 a good price to pay and what niggles should i look out for. thanks in advance for your comments

Hi Alanno, £7000. is absolutely top money for that model with air/con. Trade money is about £5500. so if your buying from a main dealer you should be able to get £500-600 or more,of the price.

The 1.8 ST is trouble free with only general wear and tear to look out for, at that price it should have main dealer service history and have an A1 condition bodywork, make sure all the electrics work and the air/con also works( this time of year it should feel like sticking you head in a freezer), good luck, hope all goes well, Bob.

Seems a little steep to me. I wouldn't be happy about paying any more than 5 grand for a ST model with 69k on the clock.
