Reversing Lights On Toyota Avensis D-4D Tx3

I've just noticed that the reversing lights on my 2005 Toyota Avensis D-4D are not working. bulbs and fuse are OK.

Where do I find the switch that is operated by selecting reverse gear???

by lights i hope you mean light...their is only one reverse light and thats on the passengers side......

the switch for reverse is on the gearbox the connector has prob come adrift..
