hi just bought a 1991 2.5 twin turbo soarer goes like the clappers but its got a light kock in the engine when starting from cold for about 3 minutes then goes quiet, after a good run park it for 30 minuets the start it and it knocks for about 5 secongds, i cant find any info on this engine. anybody got any ideas, regards mick.

I would recommend a soarer specific forum to answer this. Sounds like oil taking time to get into the lifters to me. Could need a good service if it has not had regular oil changes.

hi cheers it had been stood for 4 years untill i bought it although it had clean oil in it i gave it a full service but it still knocks im sweating on it not beinmg the bottom end, mick
