How To Use Sat Nav?

Hi,

This is a very basic question.

I recently bought a 53 plate toyota avensis 1.8 and I am very new to toyota cars. The car comes with UK sat nav CD. The top display panel keep on says 'Insert CD for navigation'. But I didn't realize where to insert the CD. There was a separate audio CD slot, do we need to use the same for navigation also?

Thx.

Hi, have a look under the passenger seat, there probably is a separate Sat Nav unit, remove plastic cover and slide cd door open, and insert cd, sorted, hopefully.

Yep, underneath the front passenger seat, easier to use a map though drool.gif

Defo, totally agree poor system, also you cant search for full postcodes :ffs: , but should work off business phone numbers, and ok for POI(points of interest) ie restaurants etc,

And if someone has half inched the CD (DVD in mine) eBay or maybe a torrent can supply a replacement. Not worth trying to buy one from Toyota.
