1987 Cressida Wagon

Just thought some of you guys might appreciate this find. I bought it 3 years ago and I am the second owner. The original owner bought it in 1986 when he was 57 years old. He was an accountant and not only took excellent care of it but kept perfect records of EVERYTHING! I have the original window sticker and even the Port of Entry receipt. After his death his son put it on Craigslist and I bought it for $2000. I flew from Louisville, KY to San Fransisco and drove it back. His son told me all he knew about it was it had new tires and exhaust. Upon arrival he handed me an expandable file binder with unbelievable records in it. His father paid $27,000 in 1986 and put over $15,000 in it for maintenance and repairs. It had 135,000 miles on it when I bought it. All the parts that have less than 15,000 miles on it include complete air conditioning system, radiator, alternator, starter, exhaust, Battery, tires, coil springs, shocks, all seals and gaskets for engine and transmission, timing belts, carpet, hood supports, antenna motor, brakes and rotors and so much more. Every 5 years he put a professional coating of silicone wax on it. It has absolutely no rust anywhere. It runs perfectly. Needless to say I love it and haven't seen another one.

Wow ! We didnt get this specific model here in UK, this is same as the JDM Toyota Mark II wagon, i seen these in parts of asia where theres still lots of them about particularly where second hand japanese imports are common wouldnt think many in japan now!

2.8-liter, 156-horsepower twin cam six cylinder 5M-GE engine. If it ever goes out I want to put in the 7M-GE twin turbo engine that came out with the Supras. It has 232 -horsepower and fits right in for $1500 including the cpu. Yea, that would really be nice. The car looks and drives like it's only a few years old. I have no problem convincing myself it's a good idea.
