3 years of my car being at university with me have led to my car needing some much needed tlc!

I have had a stone chip that has started to rust, a brick fallen from a lorry onto the bonnet and my Mum has ruined the alloys!

What should I be looking to pay to have each of these individual things done?

I went for a quick drive to get some quotes.

For the bonnet I got prices from £190-320! Am I being made a fool of or am I just underestimating how much this will cost?

The alloy wheels of which only the 2 need to be refurbished I have been quoted £50 each.

What do you guys think?

I have attached some photo of the damage on the bonnet.

Tom

The price for getting the alloys refurbished seems reasonable, a new alloy will cost at least £100, but you will need to get them to get an exact match on colour, as you are not getting all four done. I find it difficult to spot the brick damage from the photos, but unless the bonnet was dented badly, you can just get any slight indentations filled and the bonnet resprayed. Remember that you have the cost of spraying and fitting a new bonnet on top of its purchase cost. If bonnet is too dented to fill and paint, then you should look for a second hand one, you might even be lucky enough to get one in black. Have a look on eBay.
