Hi There everyone

I am just bought a 2007 Auris 2.0d TR and am wondering whether any of you have any info regarding the fuel economy. I am getting 45mpg for mainly driving out if town and i thought this is very low especially for a diesel considering the Toyota official figures are in the 50's up to the 60's. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had my Auris 2 litre diesel 3 years (from new). Over a full year it consistently averages 45 - 46 mpg. The best I've had on good runs is 51-52 mpg. I'll be interested to hear how this compares to others.

My average mpg after 8 months and 15000 miles is 46mpg.(Toyota promises 52mpg)

Best tank was 53mpg, driving 500 miles mostly at 67 Mph.

Worst was 40mpg, during winter, lots of cold starts.

It seems that the engine is still getting better, mpg figures are slightly

climbing, even with AC on.
