Hi Guys

I was thinking of buying a paseo for my daughter so would you recommend one? I've seen one cheap but with 205,000 miles on the clock. Should I steer clear?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

That is a very high mileage for a 5efe engine, they generally start burning oil well before them, depends how well they are looked after

They are a great car though, I had one for 7 months before the MR2 and it never missed a beat or cost me any money

mines just clocked over 150,000 recently and after six or seven hundred miles of very hard driving it needs just a nip more of oil, the block looks very rusty though but is sound. what you want to look out for is the cv joints and the rear suspension. both are common problems on higher mileage paeos (when i say common they are very infrequent but are the ones that get reported online).
