Engine Management Light

Hi all,

Relatively new to Celica ownership, we've only had it a month. It's a 2000 X plate gen 7. Shortly after we bought it the engine managment light came on and has been on since. Driving the car today I noticed that it sems to mis-fire quite badly. The previous owner told us that he had intermittent engine management light and that the codes read pointed at the knock sensor but it would clear on its own. Its never cleared for us!! Does anyone have any ideas??

Where can I get hold of a workshop manual?

MTIA

Eric.

could be anything get it connected to a computer asap, my e/m light told me the airflow meter needed replaced (which seems to be a common problem with these cars) but I new that anyway with the flat spot I got when going throught the revs
