1977 Hiace 1.6 12R Ignition Troubles

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and hope to find a little help....

I need a distributor as the centre has become loose and wobbles, so is a trouble when trying to time it up. If anyone can tell me where to obtain one or a fix for it, I will be a happy man.

I have had to install a piece of rubber behind the points to move it to a more 'circular' rotational position so as to get the points to open properly.Terrible bodge and I want it to go away. I cant even fit a lumenition until the dizzy if fixed, so any ideas?

I just bought one of these Hiace Campervans, bit of a wreck, but I want to do it up!

Getting parts for it is a nightmare, where do you go apart from eBay?

There is a UK club that has the older toyota cars, could try them...think it's called Toyota Enthuisast Club.
