Greetings From Pennsylvania !

Hello all,

My wife and I have recently purchased a 2000 Rav 4 for our son as a present for graduating from college. Although we have owned a Corolla before, and I also have a 99 Nissan Maxima and a 97 Honda Prelude, this is our first plunge into this type of vehicle so, here I am in the never ending quest for general knowledge.

We were able to find a nice looking 2000 with 64,000 miles on her and we paid $ 6200 George Washingtons for it.

That isn't much I suppose but for us it is a lot and we have our fingers crossed that it will give us good service. I have been somewhat concerned that some of my research has turned up some rather disturbing problems with regards to ECM/Tranny issues that scare me to death, but it seems as though that problem did not become prevelent until later model years.

Anyway, I'm glad I found a site such as this and I am attaching ( hopefully) a picture of our new purchase.
