Avensis 09 Model

Hi!

I am new to this forum. Just got my avensis march 09 model car today. I was expecting it to have an aux input....or at least I could not find it. Could anyone help me with solutions to play my iphone/ ipod in the car?

I recently purchased a Dec 08 Avensis. When you look at the description it states "Single CD Player/Radio/MP3 Connection". To date I have not found an AUX input. What the CD player allows is you to play are cd with mp3 files on them. I will not be offended if I am wrong.

To get around the issue I have purchased the following :-

1.Griffin iTrip Transmitter - Works With iPhone from Amazon - £28.35

2.Duracell Car USB Charger from play.com £5.00

3.Nokia CA-101 Micro USB Data Cable from Amazon - £1.79.

The iTrip is a FM transmittor that fits the iPhone or Ipod and uses the clearest FM frequencies to play your music. There is a mini usb port on the iTrip that can charge your Iphone/Ipod hence the reason for buying the car USB charger and cable. The nokia cable fits the iTrip and was the cheapest branded cable on the net that I could find at the time.

I have tested it and it works great. Not bad for £35.
