Cleaning The Car

Has anyone tried "Greased Lightning" Showroom Shine for car cleaning?

I've used it , mainly as a polish, although it says it is a cleaner (no water) and polish, I find it excellent, although I have to wonder at the damage it may be doing to the paintwork if the grime isn't rinsed off first. Just wondered if anyone else has tried it. Any other reccommendations would be gratefully accepted.

Got it from the telly by the way, after seeing it advertised on one of them shopping channels and being told by a couple of mates that they use it.

This is probably more appropriate for the "general" forum but I am only interested in my Auris

Yeah excellent stuff, very doubtful of its effectiveness until I actually tried it for myself.

I`ve literally spent a fortune on detailing products until I relented and bought this:-

Proshine from Netparts is quite a bit cheaper and exactly the same as `Showroom Shine`

i've just wax my whole car with turtle wax liquid and when it rains i can see the water bubble instead of making a splatter, and water rolls off easily when the car moves... which means the wax is doing its job keep it the water runny in a sense.
