Mp3 Player - Comments About Avensis

I would like to know if there is any MP3 Player available for the avensis 03.

I mean if i can connect directly to the build in hi-fi system without changing it..

AND please for the people who already have avensis 03 please give me your comments about the car.

Any strange sounds, driving opinions etc

I'm expecting mine on april..

Sorry, forgot to answer the second part of your question :rolleyes: :

It's a solid car & well made. I have one (1.8VVTi 4 door) with 13,500km on the clock, and a colleague has one (D4D 5 door) with 23,000km. No problems, no rattles, both very happy. :thumbsup:

For driving impressions I find that it's an ideal motorway cruiser, but on the mountain roads around here it's no slouch either. It handles remarkably well considering.

Thanks for the advise.. It seems that finding a proper MP3 player is a bit more complex than we thought. :crybaby:

Oups!!! One more thing....

I have heard the hi-fi system and i notice that it sounds a bit "brrrrr-grrrrr" (i don't know how to say in english) after the level 20-23.

Is it because of the amplifier or because of the Speakers..??

Did you change the build in Speakers or did you put an extra amplifier??

Are you satisfied with the hi-fi??

I'm afraid that I don't really understand what you mean by "brrrrr-grrrrr" :blink:

I'm very satisfied with the standard stereo, and I normally listen to it between 40 and MAX :lol: The only thing I've found is that it's a bit lacking in bass at higher volumes.

I'm not planning any modification apart from the MP3 changer (and I fully intend to continue trying until I find how to do it :ffs: ), but we will see. I wouldn't mind a bit more power.

Thanks for the link :thumbsup: . It's one of the ones that we had a look at, but the Avensis that they mention is the 1st gen. With the new Avensis they have changed the type of radio, and at the moment there is no solid information on the connector type. Keep an eye on the thread I posted in my previous reply, as I will be continuing to update it with all the latest info. I am determined to get this done, but I won't buy anything until I'm 100% sure
