Paseo Exhaust

Hi guys,

My beloved P reg paseo's back box joint went last night, I went into quik-fit and they quoted me £400 for a new system as its a one piece jobby, is this reasonable? your thoughts are much appreciated!

I managed to get a custom made stainless steel cat back exhaust system with life time warranty for mine for about £320. Toyota wannted £800+ at the time. Think that was about 3years ago though. Worth trying to get quotes and on the plus side you get to choose the back box style!

in my experience with toyota one piece exhausts (i've had two now) it's worked out cheaper and easier to maintain if i get a custom stainless exhaust system made to my spec. it can be just as quiet as OE spec and the quality is often better. they can also re integrate the original catalyst from you existing exhaust (this is where a lot of the cost on the one piece exhausts are) so that you won't have any problems come MoT time. the improved performance and fuel economy is just an added bonus :)
