Hi Guys

At last i ve got an anual leave to spend it with family.. I gonna visit my friend in St Peter/Russia -- trip 2200kms x2.

Have serviced rav and majore inspected to prevent eny road surprises. By the way -- a local MrT dealership has recomended to change an oil schedule on 5W40 stating it is better. Ok I did not contradict with them. Besides I will check with my new Garmin 1310 how does it work with Russian maps etc - the first local trials were successfull. WIll share my impressions after coming back. cheers/Igor

Everything will be OK Igor. That is a short trip for the RAV!

When you think that over a year a car might cover 15k of short trips - you are doing the best kind of motoring, all at normal temperature.

The oil will be fine with a lower viscosity of 5W.

Enjoy your trip.
