I am after a good Jap car with the above amount to spend! :)

I do have some criteria though:

- NO RED or BLACK cars

- 1.6 or above

- NO RUST or very little is ok

- Manual

- Under 85K

- 3 Door Hatchback/Coupe

- TAX and MOT

- No lairy bodykits (lip kits are ok)

I will have £1700 to spend end of July and £1900 to spend end of Aug but would like to have a car before the end of Summer!

Its a big ask I know but anyone got anything?

I am based in Wyke Regis, Dorset. Message me on here if you have anything pr PM me! B)

You will really struggle to get something for that money.

I would suggest either; AE82/AE86/AE92 which all have a 1.6 4A-GE which has between 120-130BHP. I can explain the differences to you if you are looking for the most power, there are a few things to consider with these. ;)

An AE86 that matches that description will cost £2500 minimum because they are so desirable as drift machines etc. AE82's are rare too and AE92's are often clad in rust (just look at mine!) or you have to pay the high price like the AE86's.

They are very good fun but you can't get a much better price....

Or you could go for an MR2 which also has that engine, or a Paseo/Starlet. Starlets have a 1.3 but if you go for a Glanza then you get a Turbo with it and therefore a lot of acceleration considering it's a lot of power in a back of peanuts. :naughty:

I just though that I would let you know about those few cars, I'm sure that you can find an awful lot more but that price really does have to rise to get to where you want.

Good luck with it mate!

EDIT: Here is an example for you; AE92 GTi-16

That is a VERY rare find and I am quite pleased with myself!
