One of the two key fobs for my Toyota Previa (September 2001) has stopped working when I changed the Battery in one of them (lights are coming on). New Battery is definitely ok as I have checked it with the working key fob. Looks like it needs a reset of some form. Does anyone know how to sort out this problem, other than taking it to Toyota dealers!

Many thanks in advance.

You only have about 90 seconds before the key loses sync with the car immobiliser when changing a Battery.

There IS a way of getting it to work without a hideously expensive visit to Toyota, but for the life of me I cant remember how  .

Hopefully someone else will remember!!

Thanks - that's probably what's happened, and I'm loathed to go to Toyota for this. Hope you have a UREKA moment and remember what the process is!
