AFAIK Dezent are a pretty good brand of wheels. On the Dutch forum

there's quite a few people having them on their cars...

I just got some fitted to my Aygo a week or two ago, I would say avoid them TBH...the paint on mine is like orange peel in places, thin in other places too and they needed a ridiculous amount of weights stuck on just to get them balanced. I can understand why they're cheap, mine cost £211 new.

Were they white or a different colour? You got any picsof the peeling?

I didn't mean they were peeling, I meant orange peel - lumpy. They were silver (Dezent RB) but I had them painted again before fitting them, when they arrived only the front face was painted and the rest of the wheel was just primer, although the paint had flaked off a bit on the outside rim. I bought them POTN.CO.UK and when I tried to contact them to return the wheels they would not reply back to me, they sent me the wrong bolts for my car too.

If you have/buy white wheels make sure that when you clean them you use products with a neutral PH level as if you use acidic cleaners they will diss-colour the wheel and also make the paint flake apart from that dezent alloys are quite good quality, i have always been told good things about potn.co.uk have you tried ringing them?

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'll start saving for some and see how far I get and decide then, but I am liking the dezent ones with the blue rim.

Hopefully you bought them using a Credit Card.

If you did:

1. Contact the credit card company and let them know what is happening.

2. Put any complaints to the company in writing (recorded delivery) and copy to the credit card company.

3. Give them 14 days to respond to you with their plans to make good on the purchase or to refund you the money and collect the wheels.

4. If they still refuse to answer your letters, inform the credit card company that you will therefore be holding them equally responsible for the purchase and the problems with it. (I can't remember the bit in the Consumer Credit Act but that's pretty much what it says).

You also have the Distance Selling Regulations that give you 14 days to refuse a product that you bought and return it.

And finally, if you really want to ***** them off, for £50 you can issue proceedings via the Small Claims Court. But it's best if you try to solve the issues using the above first.

Whilst typing all this I remembered the Section you needed. It's Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, (this is your best friend as a buyer).

Good luck.

I didn't buy them with a credit card as I don't have one. The wheels were half price when I bought them, so once I'd had them painted and bought new bolts it came to around £460. The company don't even have a phone number, email only to which they don't reply...I'm past caring now, the wheels are on and they look good after being painted, I would just advise people to buy from someone else instead.

if anyone is like me, just keep the steelies on, lol had looked at some, but still not found a set i like lol

I keep looking at getting a set of alloys, I then think of something better to spend £500 on instead.

I sprayed the steel wheels silver on a 107 and I think it improves the appearance a lot with the standard hub caps.post-18994-127815393741_thumb.jpg
